Dear Ian,

LBRuT Arboriculture team has reviewed the sycamore tree noted
as tree 23 on the London’s Arcadia Warren Footpath Tree Works
(Jan 2007) document located by your raft along the Warren
Footpath for a third time and returned a detailed assessment.
Their conclusions were the same with the recommendation to
remove the tree.

However they also noted an alternative option (option 2) to
retain the sycamore and monitor its condition and remove it
when it became a potential hazard to users of the river and
footpath. As such, I have passed this information onto the
London’s Arcadia Executive Committee and the LBRuT Cabinet
Member for the Environment and they have agreed to follow
option 2 as above, and leave the subject sycamore tree 23.
London’s Arcadia will pass the matter over to LBRuT
Arboriculture Team in the Parks Department henceforth and
leave the sycamore tree 23.

This draws the tree works along the Warren Footpath by
London’s Arcadia to a close and I trust you will will find
the recommendation satisfactory and thank you for your time
about the matter.

Regards,

Ken
